Clarise and Ervin had a perfect winter day for their intimate wedding at Stone Ridge Farm Chapel in Mequon, WI (can we just say that this is an ADORABLE location for an elopement?!). Our photographer Sarah met up with them for a few finishing touches before the ceremony, and her photos really set the scene by capturing the peaceful and picturesque location (complete with horses) and the excitement on their faces as they were getting ready to marry each other 💗

Laura and Tim met in high school on a bus to a Model OAS informational meeting and stayed on Model OAS and Model UN teams throughout high school. After Tim graduated, he and Laura started dating, and Tim was also Laura’s prom date! Their journeys in life have had twists and turns, and we just love their history and how everything came together perfectly! They two of them shared their wedding day in Racine, surrounded by many of their loved-ones including Laura’s son Quinn and Tim’s son Noel, and our photographer Sarah loved photographing so much joy!

We had a chilly evening for Yasmin’s senior portraits in Milwaukee’s Third Ward, but she did a great job dressing for the weather, and the cold didn’t phase her. She really wanted a city feel to her senior photos as well as an evening/nighttime vibe, so we started her session during golden hour (we had perfect soft, warm lighting) and then incorporated off-camera flash for some dramatic and moody nighttime pictures.

Earlier this Fall, we had the honor of photographing Lara and Seth’s maternity photos, and now our team photographer Lindsay photographed their sweet in-home newborn session after adorable Alexander’s arrival! He enjoyed all the snuggles, both by his parents and his big sisters, Miriam and Hannah. He even got some sniffs and dog kisses from their furry family member!

It was wonderful meeting this sweet bunch! Lorin and Matt got in touch with us this Fall for a combination session: some couple’s photos of the two of them as well as extended family portraits with their parents. Lorin’s mom Barbara and Matt’s parents, Kathy and Marvin, were happy to join the fun, and we all met up at Whitnall Park. It was a chilly evening, and they all had no problem snuggling while warming each other up!

Last year we had the pleasure of photographing Part 1 of Yeimidy and Michael’s wedding: an intimate backyard ceremony as they held off on a larger celebration due to COVID-19. Fast forward to last month, it was wonderful working with them again to capture another ceremony and blessing with them surrounded by some of their nearest and dearest, followed by SUCH a fun reception with plenty of dancing! The day started at Dubbel Dutch, a boutique Milwaukee hotel where our team photographer Joshua met up with the two of them as they got ready for the big event. The historic architecture was the perfect backdrop for photos of their preparations followed by their romantic First Look!

Lars and Theresa were so thrilled that their wedding day was here, and the joy radiated from their faces the entire day! Things got started at The Westin Milwaukee where the two of them got ready for the big event with our team photographer Lisa capturing all the finishing touches and exciting moments. We just love all the expressions on their wedding party’s faces as they saw Theresa after she got her wedding dress on! 💗 Soon it was time for their romantic First Look, and we couldn’t help but smile the entire time while editing these photos! What a beautiful moment.

Fred and Hannah have such a fun engagement story, we couldn’t help but share! Fred threw a costume party and Hannah had no idea it was an engagement party. They were dressed as Princess Peach and Bowser 😁 The two of them are such a sweet pair, and Fred loves Hannah's work ethic, how smart and caring she is and that she is his best friend. Hannah loves Fred's goofiness, how he is caring and always does anything for the people he loves. We just love all the smiles they brought out in each other throughout their engagement session!

We had a beautifully crisp Fall evening for the H Family’s sunset portrait session! We met up for family photos at River Bend Nature Center in Racine and had just the best lighting! We started during the tail end of soft “golden hour” as this sweet fam enjoyed some snuggles while staying warm 😊 We captured a blend of photos: candid and posed, as well as different combinations like the three of them together, Ella with each of her parents, and even a couple of just Sarah and Mike together.

We’ve been photographing little Ethan and his dads, Jess and Judd, since Ethan was a newborn baby, and it was so much fun seeing these three again for their candid family portrait session at Grant Park / Seven Bridges in South Milwaukee! He’s growing so fast, and he is just the sweetest: wanting to hold hands with his friendly family photog and thanking me - all on his own - at the end of their session 🥰 Makes us love what we do even more when we have moments like these!

At the end of Summer, our photographer Sarah captured Chris and Sarah’s engagement session, and she was so looking forward to photographing them again on their picturesque wedding day! She first met up with them at The Ambassador Hotel - a Milwaukee Landmark and Art Deco masterpiece - for their romantic First Look. They were so excited to see each other! Afterward, Sarah captured some romantic portraits of the two of them with the stunning architectural details and then then headed over to their ceremony and reception location, The Rave / Eagle’s Ballroom (another fantastic historic landmark!).

Jason, Rodney and their son, Carson, were on vacation in Milwaukee (their first time here!), and it was wonderful photographing their family portraits while they were having fun in our awesome city! It was great seeing MKE through their eyes and hearing about all the activities they were up to ☺️

Alex and Harmony are such a sweet couple! They got engaged at Grant Park, so it was the perfect location for their engagement photos. They’re so adorably affectionate with each other and just love bringing out each other’s smiles. It was such a joy to photograph them! Harmony has salsa danced competitively, and it was fun incorporating their moves together in their portraits, as well as including some artistic silhouettes and creative perspectives through the trees and picturesque bridge.

It was so much fun photographing the S Family! They love warm, fun, candid and creative photos, and we started our session at Milwaukee’s Black Cat Alley for an artistic city feel. Their outfits coordinated perfectly with the vibrant colors in the murals, and we captured a variety of photos including each kiddo individually, the siblings together, their full family, and lovebirds Sophie and Vikas. Their kids, Pauras and Turya, each picked out their favorite mural, and we all felt so inspired!

We had such a lovely evening for this sweet family’s portraits at Milwaukee’s Lake Park! Siblings, Norah and Austin, were so sweet with each other as they looked at each other often and held hands. Their parents, Whitney and David, had their wedding photos taken at this park, so it was wonderful for them to be able to reminisce while walking through the park with their kiddos 😊

Breckyn just recently celebrated her First Birthday, and she and her big brother, Bennett, enjoyed exploring Whitnall Park during their family portrait session! Breckyn loved checking out the wildflowers while Bennett had fun running around and seeing the geese! He was such a good big brother to his sister during their session, too, as he held her hand and they played together in the leaves.

Peter’s a senior at Burlington High School but also loves spending time in Milwaukee, especially downtown and along the lakefront, riding scooters and eating at food trucks… so MKE’s lakefront by Discovery World was the perfect location for his senior photos. We were able to capture a variety of looks there with the cityscape, the rocks along the lake, wooden steps and modern architecture.

Elise and Sean’s early Fall wedding day was filled with so many heartfelt moments, tears of joy, and pure fun. Their day started at the Hyatt Regency where our team photographer Lisa met up with them to photograph the finishing touches of them getting ready for the big event. We love the emotion that swept over Elise as she reached for her wedding dress. And the moments of them reading each other’s letters were so sweet and sentimental! Soon it was time for their romantic First Look on the picturesque bridge of the Milwaukee Art Museum. Big hugs, smiles and kisses were followed by a fun portrait with their wedding party before heading to the church for their ceremony.

Holden just celebrated his Third Birthday, and he was such a joy at his Fall portrait session with his dad, Jadon. We had a beautiful autumn morning with warm sunlight highlighting all the changing leaves. Holden’s mama / Jadon’s wife, Katie, planned out their perfectly coordinating outfits (just look at that adorable orange and brown sweater!), as well as a couple of shirt changes for this little guy. One of the cute shirts reflected his recent construction-themed birthday party- so thoughtfully and lovingly planned.

We were so honored when the H Family got in touch with us and said they wanted to make the drive from out of state for us to photograph their family portraits! They loved our work and wanted some creative and fun photos 🥰 After talking about some location options together, we met up at South Milwaukee’s Grant Park (Seven Bridges) where we were able to capture a variety of looks between the woods, bridges, beach and prairie. Their middle kid, Danielle, is also a senior this year so they wanted a bit of a hybrid session to include some senior photos for her, too. And it was wonderful capturing some updated individual portraits of her siblings, Jade and Noah, as well.
