Clarise and Ervin’s Winter Wedding | Stone Ridge Farm Chapel

Clarise and Ervin had a perfect winter day for their intimate wedding at Stone Ridge Farm Chapel in Mequon, WI (can we just say that this is an ADORABLE location for an elopement?!). Our photographer Sarah met up with them for a few finishing touches before the ceremony, and her photos really set the scene by capturing the peaceful and picturesque location (complete with horses) and the excitement on their faces as they were getting ready to marry each other 💗

The two of them met in college in 2008, and their fast friendship blossomed into romance! We just love their engagement story: Clarise was in New York for residency interviews when Ervin surprised her at The Met and proposed 🤩Together, they love watching movies, taking roadtrips, watching Broadway shows, and exploring trails with their dog: a Corgi named Mochi who was dressed to the nines for their wedding.

Ervin and Clarise’s wedding was so meaningful, complete with a cord ceremony, and their expressions after they exchanged rings and were announced as Newlyweds were priceless! So much joy and love. Afterward, Sarah captured all the congratulatory hugs and virtual celebrations as some of their guests joined over Zoom. Following some candid, personal and creative portraits (including some fun photos with horses that came over to say hi, as well as Mochi wearing his little doggie tuxedo), they joined their guests again for a champagne toast, cake cutting and a first dance. We love the ambiance of all the Christmas decorations and candlelight!

Congratulations, lovebirds! We’re so happy for you both and thrilled we had the opportunity to capture such a special day in your lives! Cheers 🥂
