Our Story
The story of Reminisce began like many love stories: two creative people who found joy in building something meaningful together. What started as a shared passion for photography has grown into a life of capturing the best moments in people’s lives, while staying rooted in values like sustainability, service, and genuine connection.
Our little photography family has expanded, too. We now proudly operate two sister brands:
•Noun Photography, specializing in commercial and business work
•Buttons & Bones, specializing in luxury dog photography
No matter what we’re capturing, we’re in it together. We believe that your experience should feel easy, personal, and intentional from the very first conversation to the moment you receive your images. People matter to us, and we’d be honored to photograph the ones you love most.
Meet the Lovebirds behind Reminisce
We’re Miranda and Adam, the married duo behind Reminisce Photography. With well over a decade of experience photographing weddings, families, and seniors across Milwaukee, southeastern Wisconsin and beyond, we bring a creative eye, calm presence, and a people-first approach to every session. Outside of photography, we’re often exploring a trail, wandering a museum, or trying a new restaurant. We both love the arts and are low-key Trekkies. 😉

Hey, I’m Miranda!
(she/her)
When I’m not behind the camera, you can find me lost in a book, out in the garden, or baking something inspired by The Great British Baking Show. I’ll never be on the show, but I’ve finally tackled my fear of baking, which means I can now offer you a cookie (and even a Tarte Tatin!) with confidence.
I play the flute - from performing with a classical orchestra to recording for a symphonic metal band - and I love creating art at home, too, from making pine cone flowers and orange peel mushrooms to painting and chalk pastels.
Photography, for me, is about noticing the little things: how someone lights up when they laugh, the quiet in-between moments, and the emotion that lives in every detail. I bring my creative eye to every session, crafting images that feel thoughtful, artful, and uniquely you. One of my favorite parts of this work is seeing people open up once they feel comfortable and confident. I love helping people feel at ease and creating images that feel honest, beautiful, and personal.

When I’m not behind the camera, you’ll probably find me hiking, shooting pool, tuning into a favorite podcast, or working on a home project with Miranda. I enjoy digging into tools and tech, whether that means fixing something around the house or experimenting with new gear setups that help bring creative ideas to life.
As a photographer, I’m drawn to the real and the in-between: the natural interactions, small gestures, and moments that feel unscripted. I bring a steady, intuitive presence to each session, always watching for the light, movement, and energy that make people feel like themselves.
Whether I’m photographing a wedding, a senior session, or a family adventure, I focus on creating images that feel genuine, grounded, and full of personality. There’s nothing better than seeing people relax into the experience and trust that we’ve got them, while they’re looking and feeling confident and having fun.

We make a donation to Earthjustice in honor of your session or celebration. Earthjustice is a nonprofit environmental law organization working to protect our air, water, and wild places for future generations.
We partner with photo labs that use environmentally conscious practices and are Forest Stewardship Council Certified for printing and recycling.
Our solar setup offsets 100% of our office electricity use each year, helping keep our footprint lighter while doing what we love. Thank you Arch Electric!
We’re Leave No Trace Certified, and always mindful of land use and local restrictions when photographing outdoors.
