Gwen + Jamison first met at the dog park! Then six months later, Gwen moved upstairs from Jamison, her dog chased his dog, and the rest is history! ❤️ Their dogs are also part of their engagement story: Jamison planned a trip to Telluride for a hike in the mountains with their furry family members. He found a secluded waterfall, and there happened to be a professional photographer who coincidentally arrived to photograph the waterfall at the moment he popped the big question, so they even got proposal photos! Their journey together is simply serendipitous.

I absolutely loved photographing Cora and Tommy’s engagement session at Lake Park! Their sweet pittie, Nessie, joined the celebration, proudly wearing a sign that read, “My humans are getting married!” 🐾 Nessie was the star for the first part of their session, happily posing for photos with her beloved humans. Their other non-human family members will make their photo debut at the wedding, but Nessie, who prefers intimate groups, got her special moment in the spotlight this time around…

I had the absolute pleasure of reconnecting with Tara and Johnny for some anniversary photos, and it was such a blast! I first photographed their engagement session nine years ago, followed by their beautiful wedding the next summer. We’ve kept in touch on Instagram, and when they told me they were visiting Wisconsin and wanted some updated couple’s portraits, I was all in! Tara and Johnny wanted to revisit some of the spots from their engagement and wedding days, which I thought was such a sweet idea.

The museum's iconic architecture and views of Lake Michigan set the stage perfectly for Dan + Michelle’s engagement session. We chased the golden hour hues as the sun dipped behind the city skyline, capturing intimate moments that truly reflected their love and excitement for their upcoming wedding at The Domes in January. They also brought along their Bucks jerseys to give a shout out to their favorite team! 🏀

Elle + Conor are getting married next year in Cabo! I was excited to photograph their engagement session here in Milwaukee where they met. ✨ The two of them love spending time in bookstores together, and their proposal also included a secret message in a romance novel.

I met up with Jason + Krystal at Riverside Park by the Urban Ecology Center for their engagement photos, and we also captured a few pictures with their adorable kiddos Aiden and Aria! They love spending time outside together, so the park’s prairie, woods and river made a perfect location for their portraits.

The stunning Villa Terrace is one of those places where we could photograph every day and never grow tired of it. Add this super sweet couple to the mix, and it was magic! I met up with Ben + Katie for the first part of their engagement session here, and we had gorgeous weather for their winter photoshoot! The Villa was decked out in all their decorations, and it was fun making our way around different picturesque spots together!

The Milwaukee Public Museum was an awesome location for Micaela + Alex's engagement session! They love to travel, take walks, hang out with their dog Pepper, try new restaurants and read together. The museum was an exciting location for their session because it was their first time there together! It was fun capturing not only the two of them and their adorableness, but also some great memories for them ❤️

Jaime contacted us a couple of months ago via our luxury dog photography brand, Buttons & Bones, to purchase a session for her boyfriend Nathan's upcoming birthday. She wanted to capture the bond he - and they - have with the beyond-adorable Skye, a sweet Australian Cattle Dog mix. He loved his gift! ... and then secretly got in touch with us to let us know that he wanted to propose during their doggie session! 🐾

Lauren + David share a passion for sailing and even sail competitively, so what better place to take their engagement photos than out on the water?! They were so sweet in giving us a little tour afterward, too. Their session was such a fantastic time!

Katie loves Alex's intelligence, humor, listening skills, loyalty, love of animals, and kindness. Alex loves Katie's smile, her kind and generous nature, her humor, the depth to which she cares about other people, her supportiveness, and her emotional intelligence. They're such a wonderful match!

Kat and Maki were both in high school theatre crew, and they got to know each other over several performances. On the last show of their final year, Maki “finally mustered the courage” to ask Kat out and the rest is history!

Maki said, “I love Kat’s sense of humor, her compassion for animals, her love of art and nature. Her honesty and candor is something I’ve always appreciated about her character. She is beautiful, fun, and warm. I feel at home next to her.”

Beach photos don't have to happen in the warm months! I met up with Brianna & Ryan at Grant Park's Seven Bridges, and we had a lovely late afternoon for their engagement photos! Brianna's mom Tammy was also in town from Arizona, so we captured a few mother-daughter photos while they were together as well (stay tuned!).

B+R got engaged last month on their anniversary, and they also just closed on their first house together! So many exciting milestones for them 🎉

Adam loved photographing Luke and Paige's engagement session, and he can't wait to capture their big day this February in North Carolina!

The two of them met at camp before college started, and they've been dating since their freshman year.
