Chris and Sarah | Creative Wedding Photos at The Rave: Eagles Ballroom, Milwaukee

At the end of Summer, our photographer Sarah captured Chris and Sarah’s engagement session, and she was so looking forward to photographing them again on their picturesque wedding day! She first met up with them at The Ambassador Hotel - a Milwaukee landmark and Art Deco masterpiece - for their romantic First Look. They were so excited to see each other! Afterward, Sarah captured some sweet and creative portraits of the two of them with the stunning architectural details and then then headed over to their ceremony and reception location, The Rave / Eagle’s Ballroom (another fantastic historic landmark!).

The ballroom was just gorgeous with it’s Mediterranean Revival architecture, uplighting and elegant decor, and Sarah photographed some intimate, dramatic and artistic portraits of them there before they made their way to The Penthouse Lounge for their rooftop wedding ceremony. It was a beautiful day, and guests enjoyed the views of Milwaukee as they settled in with excitement for the big event! Their son, Myer, and Sarah’s daughter Tessa looked so filled with joy as they made their way down the aisle as ring bearer and maid of honor, and we just love the expressions on Sarah and Chris’ faces as they saw each other.

Their outdoor ceremony was so sweet and personal, and it concluded with the exciting moment of Chris breaking the glass! Then they made their way down the aisle together as guests applauded, and each set of their parents shared in some sentimental moments, too. Love it! Afterward, everyone soon made their way back to Eagles Ballroom for social/cocktail hour, mingling, dinner, and an evening of fun! Chris is also in a band - PCE - and they treated guests to a show to kick off the evening of dancing (and Tessa also joined in playing the trumpet!)!
