Katie and Ben’s celestial-themed Milwaukee wedding was a dreamy celebration that started at the Saint Kate Arts Hotel and included iconic portraits at City Hall and the Milwaukee Rotary Centennial Arboretum. Their ceremony at South Second featured a crescent moon backdrop, nods to The Legend of Zelda and The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy, and a reception filled with Star Trek and Star Wars touches. The day ended with dramatic nighttime portraits featuring light sabers, making their wedding an unforgettable experience in the heart of Milwaukee.

Pam and Hadassah's love story is a beautiful tale of reconnection. Their wedding at The Clybourn was a celebration filled with joy, laughter, and touching traditions, like the handfasting ceremony that highlighted their bond. Surrounded by plentiful flowers and the warmth of loved ones, their day was truly unforgettable, from getting ready with their closest people to capturing stunning portraits at Marquette University. Emily and Griffin’s story is straight out of a rom-com. They met twice at work events and nothing came of it, but then fate brought them together online. Amazingly, they discovered they lived just across the street from each other, and they also both grew up in Indiana! Their first date was a sweet walk and coffee outing, and Griffin later proposed along that same walk by Lake Michigan.

I had the absolute pleasure of reconnecting with Tara and Johnny for some anniversary photos, and it was such a blast! I first photographed their engagement session nine years ago, followed by their beautiful wedding the next summer. We’ve kept in touch on Instagram, and when they told me they were visiting Wisconsin and wanted some updated couple’s portraits, I was all in! Such a fun group, and I loved capturing their joy and laughter all day! Soon it was time for their romantic First Look, and then they exchanged letters with each other. A few days before their larger wedding and celebration, Kat + Maki had the best of both worlds by also eloping! They had a beautifully crisp November day with gorgeous Fall color and a light layer of snow ❄️🍁

For their larger celebration they chose the Polish Center of Wisconsin for their wedding because they loved that they could have their ceremony and reception all in one location, and the outdoor space offered beautiful scenery for their portraits!

Roxanne + Sharon said the things they love most about each other are their shared laughter, spiritual connection, supporting each other, sharing, and enjoying true love for the first time 🥹 They love gardening, kayaking, concerts, theater, travel, beaches, eating, and spending time with their dog Clifford who wants to part of all the hugs 🥰

Anna + Pete got married at The Stonehouse at Silver Creek on a crisp, rainy, fall day 🍂 It was so cozy, personal, elegant and fun! After some getting-ready coverage that included some sweet pics with their dog, Jackson, they enjoyed their First Looks with each other and then their kids, Finn and Stella. They also had an unplanned First Look with their families who had arrived early for family photos. It was my first time capturing that special reaction with such a large group- I loved it!!!

Miranda + Jacob's wedding day started at home for some getting ready coverage before heading to their church for the big event! Miranda's an artist, and it was fun incorporating her artwork in some of the photos during her preparations. She looked absolutely lovely, and before we knew it, it was time for us all to head to the church! Knowing that they both have an eye for uniqueness, I incorporated some creative reflections during their ceremony and concluded our time there with a dramatic silhouette.

Ben + Cathy had a beautiful day for their backyard wedding! They held their outdoor ceremony and reception at their home, and it was the perfect location for them to be surrounded by their children, friends and family. We just adore the love and excitement that radiates from their faces in all of their photos! 🥹
