Holden's Third Birthday Photos | Candid Family Portraits at Schlitz Audubon Nature Center

Holden just celebrated his Third Birthday, and he was such a joy at his Fall portrait session with his dad, Jadon. We had a beautiful autumn morning with warm sunlight highlighting all the changing leaves. Holden’s mama / Jadon’s wife, Katie, planned out their perfectly coordinating outfits (just look at that adorable orange and brown sweater!), as well as a couple of shirt changes for this little guy. One of the cute shirts reflected his recent construction-themed birthday party- so thoughtfully and lovingly planned.

Holden had so much fun as we made our way around the nature center, and his giggles were just contagious! He has such a vibrant laugh, and he certainly has his mama’s smile. It was wonderful to see how fun-loving he is as he begged to be chased and tickled, had fun running across a bridge, wanted to be tossed up in the air again and again, did a little dance as he marched down a bench, and played peek-a-boo with us.

At the end of the session when he tripped, Jadon scooped him up and Holden squeezed him and said through his tears, “I love you SO much!” to his dad. Such a loving and grateful little human he is and truly an honor to photograph them. ❤️
