I absolutely loved photographing Cora and Tommy’s engagement session at Lake Park! Their sweet pittie, Nessie, joined the celebration, proudly wearing a sign that read, “My humans are getting married!” 🐾 Nessie was the star for the first part of their session, happily posing for photos with her beloved humans. Their other non-human family members will make their photo debut at the wedding, but Nessie, who prefers intimate groups, got her special moment in the spotlight this time around…

Emily and Griffin’s story is straight out of a rom-com. They met twice at work events and nothing came of it, but then fate brought them together online. Amazingly, they discovered they lived just across the street from each other, and they also both grew up in Indiana! Their first date was a sweet walk and coffee outing, and Griffin later proposed along that same walk by Lake Michigan.

The P Family's session at Grant Park was a joy to capture! They specifically chose this spot because they said they love the “mix of water and green scenery - quintessential Wisconsin!” We couldn’t agree more. We've been photographing Brenda and Kyle’s journey since their engagement session years back, so it was special to catch up with them for some updated family photos, especially with Colin turning four next month!

Charlie’s senior photo session at Grant Park’s Seven Bridges was a blast! This spot is perfect for capturing the natural beauty of Milwaukee and Wisconsin, with its woods, trails, a stream, and even a beach along Lake Michigan. We got to explore all these gorgeous spots during the golden hour, which gave Charlie’s photos a warm, dreamy vibe.

I had the absolute pleasure of reconnecting with Tara and Johnny for some anniversary photos, and it was such a blast! I first photographed their engagement session nine years ago, followed by their beautiful wedding the next summer. We’ve kept in touch on Instagram, and when they told me they were visiting Wisconsin and wanted some updated couple’s portraits, I was all in! Tara and Johnny wanted to revisit some of the spots from their engagement and wedding days, which I thought was such a sweet idea.

Akshay and Sarah are getting married this November in India, but before their big day they wanted to celebrate their engagement here in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Their session was filled with smiles, romance, and some truly stunning backdrops that made for an unforgettable experience. These two chose the beautiful downtown Milwaukee lakefront for their photos. With the cityscape, Discovery World, and views of Lake Michigan, it was the perfect setting.

Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of meeting Elnora! Her daughter, Marilyn, planned the sweetest birthday surprise for her: after a morning filled with pampering and fun, they met up with me at the Milwaukee portrait studio for a photo session!

Congratulations to Jen & Sam on their recent wedding! 🎉 I had the absolute joy of photographing their post-wedding portraits at a stunning woodsy spot in Franklin, Wisconsin, known as The Conservancy. This beautiful, peaceful location provided a perfect backdrop for capturing the essence of nature and the joy shared between this couple and family.

The F Family was all in town, and I was excited to meet and photograph them! They had previously tried for family photos in Florida, but the heat and humidity didn’t cooperate. For their Take Two, our initial plan was to get some new beach photos in MKE, but while they were here we had seemingly record-breaking heat! Fortunately, we were able to coordinate switching things over to the studio where we all got a break from the sun but still got a bit of a nature-y vibe with all the plants. 🪴 They’re such a sweet bunch, and we had a great session! We were sure to capture different combinations - the full family together, cousins, siblings, smaller family units, etc. - and all without overheating 😉

Wow, this past year flew by! It feels like just yesterday we were capturing Nora’s newborn photos in their backyard. It was such a joy to reunite with the W Family for Nora’s first birthday photos and some precious family portraits. As a Milwaukee area family photographer, we love capturing moments like these so you can reminisce about the beauty and significance of family connections through the years.

When you envision the perfect wedding day… 🥹 That's exactly what McKayla and Chris experienced at their stunning Milwaukee-area wedding at The Atrium in Shorewood. This beautiful event filled our hearts with joy, and these two just make us smile!

Lauren and Zach decided it was time for their first professional photos together, and we were thrilled to capture their love along with their dog, Phoebe, in a Milwaukee couple's photography session. Their second date - four years ago - was at Grant Park (Zach had just adopted Phoebe a few months prior), and they took the adorable pup to the beach together. It was so sweet capturing their portraits at the same meaningful place!

Surprise proposals are always a thrill for us, and David’s plan for Samantha was nothing short of magical. He reached out to us with a vision to propose at McKinley Breakwater, under the guise of a romantic walk together. Adam, our skilled photographer, expertly disguised himself among the scenery, pretending to capture scenic shots of Lake Michigan while discreetly documenting every heartfelt moment as it unfolded.

The museum's iconic architecture and views of Lake Michigan set the stage perfectly for Dan + Michelle’s engagement session. We chased the golden hour hues as the sun dipped behind the city skyline, capturing intimate moments that truly reflected their love and excitement for their upcoming wedding at The Domes in January. They also brought along their Bucks jerseys to give a shout out to their favorite team! 🏀

Recently, we had the pleasure of photographing baby Jamie, the new addition to Megs + Dyson's family. Having previously captured their anniversary portraits, it was heartwarming to be part of another milestone for them. Our session took place at Grant Park in South Milwaukee, where the serene Seven Bridges trail provided a stunning natural backdrop.

Miranda photographed Melania’s senior pictures last year, and Melania recently met up again - with Adam this time - for some additional photos to capture such a big part of her life: figure skating!

I had a wonderful time capturing the love and laughter of the T Family during golden hour at Boerner Botanical Gardens. 🌅 From full family portraits to precious moments with siblings Josie, Maddie, and Alex, and sweet couple’s photos of Nicole and Mike, every moment was filled with joy and beauty.

These sweet faces might look familiar since we’ve had the honor of photographing many of life’s milestones since their 2011 wedding (and their engagement session before that!). We can’t say how much it means to have documented so much love between them for over a decade. It’s always wonderful seeing them and catching up, and this time around meeting their new addition Zosia.

Elle + Conor are getting married next year in Cabo! I was excited to photograph their engagement session here in Milwaukee where they met. ✨ The two of them love spending time in bookstores together, and their proposal also included a secret message in a romance novel.
