Emily + Griffin’s Pritzlaff Wedding | Photos in Milwaukee’s Third Ward
Emily and Griffin’s story is straight out of a rom-com. They met twice at work events and nothing came of it, but then fate brought them together online. Amazingly, they discovered they lived just across the street from each other, and they also both grew up in Indiana! Their first date was a sweet walk and coffee outing, and Griffin later proposed along that same walk by Lake Michigan.
This sweet duo loves Milwaukee and chose the historic Pritzlaff Building for their big day for its charm, stunning cream city brick, elegant woodwork, and timeless elegance. 😍 It was the perfect Milwaukee wedding venue, featuring spacious getting-ready suites, a covered outdoor ceremony space (a lifesaver when it rained!), and a picturesque, spacious reception location. The venue had endless photo ops, so we didn’t even need to leave for portraits!
Once the excitement of getting ready with their wedding party concluded, it was soon time for their private and romantic First Look with each other. Just love their reactions to seeing each other! The happy couple and their stylish wedding party looked absolutely breathtaking as we made our way around different spots of the picturesque building.
Following a ceremony complete with heartfelt readings and beautiful vows, the rest of their day was brimming with personal touches, like their dog Mushu “sponsoring” the drinks, vinyl records for guests to sign, and little bags of their favorite coffee for guests to take home and enjoy - an homage to their first date.
When dinner ended, the rain had stopped, and Griffin and Emily were excited to be able to get some rooftop sunset portraits. The sky, the light, the chemistry—everything was perfect! This adorable couple loves long strolls, exploring local record and coffee shops, and they’re absolutely obsessed with their husky, Mushu. Their perfect evening? Sipping wine, playing a favorite record or comfort show/movie, cooking up something elaborate, and venturing into nature’s beauty. Emily and Griffin could talk for hours, losing track of time and savoring every moment together.
We can’t get over the electric love between these two! Wishing you a lifetime filled with love, adventure, and countless beautiful moments together. Cheers 🥂
