Lauren, Zach + Phoebe: Couple’s Photos + Dog Photography @ Milwaukee’s Grant Park

Lauren and Zach decided it was time for their first professional photos together, and we were thrilled to capture their love along with their dog, Phoebe, in a Milwaukee couple's photography session. Their second date - four years ago - was at Grant Park (Zach had just adopted Phoebe a few months prior), and they took the adorable pup to the beach together. It was so sweet capturing their portraits at the same meaningful place! Phoebe is a huge part of their lives, joining them on walks around their Tosa neighborhood and exploring new trails. Her loving gaze says it all, and capturing their bond was an absolute joy.

It’s moments like these that bring together our passion for photographing lovebirds via Reminisce and our Milwaukee dog photography at Buttons & Bones Luxury Dog Photography. 🐶 Fun fact: they said that they have a tendency to take a song (any song) and stick Phoebe’s name into the lyrics. They have yet to find one that doesn’t work!

In addition to hanging out with their canine cutie, they play on a recreational softball team together, and they also love going bowling and playing pickleball. When they want to be a little more low key, they also go head to head in Mario Kart!

Lauren loves that Zach is very loyal, kind, and always willing to put others first. He’s also a wonderful dog dad and a great chef! “I love how easy and fun it has been to build and grow our lives together as we make new friends and continue growing as individuals as well as a couple.” She also said that they have the same sense of humor and are always able to laugh together!

Zach said that Lauren is the kind of person that everyone hopes to be. “She is thoughtful, smart, funny, kind and has a tremendous desire to try every flavor of life. She has been my biggest supporter through good times and bad and even though Phoebe is her first dog, she has opened her heart and they are the best friends in the world now. Lauren is always trying to improve herself and bring out the best in me and everyone around her. I don’t think I could have met anyone who I mesh with better than Lauren. She’s cute as heck, too.”
