Downtown Milwaukee's Lakefront and Third Ward were perfect locations for Nia's senior portraits! She frequents Summerfest and loves hanging out along the lake and in the city. It was fun hearing about recent concerts she's been to and talking about theater!

She plans on going to college for a major in Elementary Education and minors in Psychology and Political Science, and we wish her a wonderful time in pursuing her dream!

George and Pinar had such a picturesque, romantic wedding! They chose Villa Terrace Decorative Arts Museum for their big day, as they fell in love with the historic venue's architecture, gardens and lake views. It was also the perfect size for their intimate, love-filled wedding.

Our photographer Sandy met up with them at the villa to photograph finishing touches of them getting ready for the big event! The villa's plentiful windows and natural light, ornate wallpaper and historic furniture made a gorgeous backdrop for the exciting moments leading up to their ceremony!

We had a perfect summer evening for their Milwaukee engagement photos, and we met up at Lake Park where we had such romantic golden hour lighting. It was fun walking around the park while getting to know each other and talking about their wedding next year!

Cody and Kim had a fantastic late summer day for their outdoor wedding ceremony at Boerner Botanical Gardens! They visited there early on in their relationship and always thought it was a beautiful place that held special meaning for them.

They are such a stylish duo with Kim rocking their strawberry attire and Cody in his emerald green suit, and their wedding party of groomsmen and "babes" also looked fab. Their wedding party was complete with their bubble girl who did such a great job and was all smiles!

Christina and Matt are married! Let's tell you a little more about this sweet couple: Matt loves Christina's warm heart (her generosity, kindness, and empathy) coupled with her brilliant and perceptive mind. Christina said that Matt is kind, thoughtful, handsome, intelligent, adventurous, playful. "The total package," she said with a smile :)

The two of them got married at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, where Christina grew up attending, and they chose Villa Filomena for their reception because they loved the character and intimate feel.

Karli and Luke love going for hikes, taking their dog for walks, sharing cozy nights in, and enjoying a campfire, so the atmosphere of Hubbard Park Lodge was perfect for their wedding ceremony and reception! They love the rustic feel and natural elegance of the space.

These two are just so sweet! Luke love's Karli's persistence and that she's kind, sweet, generous and family-oriented. Karli love's his sense of humor, that he likes to teach himself new skills, and that he's caring, nurturing and family-oriented as well! They're such a wonderful match

Jake and Jos had a beautiful day for their Madison wedding! They had stunning lake views with their ceremony taking place outside of The Edgewater, and we love how they walked down the aisle together to start the big event!

Coordinating with The Edgewater's Art Deco architecture, Jos, Jake and their guests were right out of a roaring twenties movie with their attire and festive spirits!

Heide and Ryan are in love with everything vintage and mid-century, so they love the history and look of the Mitchell Park Domes where they chose to have both their wedding ceremony and reception. They did a great job of integrating colors and design aesthetics that worked well with the venue and with their own personal touches!

Heide said she loves so many things about Ryan. "He is one of the most talented and creative people that I know. I'm always fascinated with all of the wonderful creative projects he comes up with. I've never found someone that has the perfect blend of liking the same things that I like. He also has a great sense of humor!"

We love McKenna and Santi's story! They met when they were kids through a mutual friend and were friends for a few years before they started dating. The rest is history!

Scarlett is a talented flutist in the marching band (she's marched in our favorite parade, Tournament of Roses!), and (Miranda being a fellow flutist), we had fun talking parades at her senior portrait session!South Milwaukee's Grant Park / Seven Bridges made a picturesque location for her session, and we had beautiful golden hour lighting in the woods for her first outfit.

M and Sara have just the sweetest proposal story! M had a friend take pictures of them posing with a little whiteboard saying, "Will," "You," "Marry," and, "Me?" and was proposing with the ring in the "Marry" photo. They then used these as each of the four suits in a custom deck of cards. M stacked the deck during a game of cribbage while they were on a picnic by Lake Winnebago, and when Sara looked at her hand and saw the proposal, M pulled out the ring and got down on one knee. And full circle, since the two of them got engaged by Lake WInnebago, that's where they decided to have their wedding!

Fabian and Jesse met at a Unity Day party in Germany when they were both posted as diplomats to Beijing, China. We love how they tied their story in with their wedding ceremony location, Freethinkers' Hall: it's in Jesse's hometown and has historical ties with German immigrants to Wisconsin.

Daniel and Margaret met serendipitously when they lived in the same apartment building. Margaret's roommate and Daniel ran into each other in the parking garage, and Daniel and his roommate invited Margaret and her roommate over for dinner. The rest, as they say, is history!

The three of them met up at Hilton Milwaukee City Center on a cold winter day for some warm & cozy, stunning and romantic pregnancy photos among the historic Art Deco architecture.

It was SO much fun photographing the L Family! Parents Jen and Matthew, and their kids Axel and Lucy came dressed for the weather with some nice pops of color, and they had a blast playing in the snow together with their rescue dog, Noodles.
