Jen, Matthew and Kids: Axel and Lucy | Family Photos along Milwaukee’s Lakefront

It was SO much fun photographing the L Family! Parents Jen and Matthew, and their kids Axel and Lucy came dressed for the weather with some nice pops of color, and they had a blast playing in the snow together with their rescue dog, Noodles. We met up at Milwaukee’s Lake Park where we had perfect golden hour lighting and captured a great blend of posed and candid photos.

After utilizing all the beautiful locations there - a bridge, open fields and the woods - we warmed up on our drive to downtown MKE’s lakefront near the Art Museum and Discovery World. Loved photographing different combinations of this sweet family: all of them together, married lovebirds, sibling photos, and photos of each parent with the kiddos.

We incorporated some artistic reflections and also concluded their session with a dramatically lit nighttime photo. Thank you so much for a great evening and the honor of photographing your family! 😁
