We first photographed the M Family over a decade ago! It was so wonderful seeing them for some updated family portraits while they were all in town together It was fun making our way around Boerner Botanical Gardens at Whitnall Park and talking about our summers, Canadian wildlife and everything in between.
Making good use of our time together, we captured a variety of combinations: grandfather and grandkids, dad with daughters, aunt with her niece and nephew, etc.

Follow These 7 Tips For The Best Senior Photos
Our high school senior sessions are relaxed and fun! We love to bring out personalities and create fresh and modern photos for you. We’re inspired by who you are, in addition to great locations and fantastic light (whether stunning “golden hour” or lights that we set up for some dramatic and stylish nighttime photos.) With creative perspectives we will capture some truly one-of-a-kind portraits for you along with some timeless, classic images that will meet your yearbook requirements.
Here are 6 tips for you to make the most of your senior session:
Is A First Look Right For You?
Do you & your partner want to spend more time together on your wedding day instead of hiding from each other? Do you want to enjoy your cocktail hour mingling & celebrating with your family & friends? Then a First Look may be perfect for you!
A First Look is a great option for couples whose ceremony and reception times are close together. Taking most of your photos before the ceremony allows you to really make the most of your wedding day and of course your portrait time too!
5 Tips To Make The Most Of Your Getting Ready Photos
Are you considering getting ready photography coverage on your big day? So much buzz and excitement happens during this part of the day! Maybe you want a lot of coverage or maybe just a little or maybe none at all - We’re happy with whatever you decide! - We want your Getting Ready coverage to be just right for you.
We can arrive at the tail end for finishing touches - adjusting your tie, putting on your veil or jewelry, plus a little fun with those in the room. Or we can start earlier and photograph all the details - your attire, shoes, invitation suite, etc. Then we’ll capture you getting dressed with the help of your most important people and end with some portraits. We recommend 60-90 minutes for full getting ready coverage while 30-45 minutes is usually just right for finishing touches coverage.

It was fun meeting up with the V family this Fall for portraits of them at Boerner Botanical Gardens! Their littles, Arthur and Sophia, are so sweet! Parents, Angela & Tristram, described their family as "chaos & cuddles," which is just adorable.
The weather shifted that day and ended up calling for rain, but they didn't mind having fun in the sprinkles, and they decided to still do the session. The rain gave such a fall mood to their photos- love it!
