Golden Hour Adventures: Brooke’s Senior Session at Grant Park’s Seven Bridges and Beach

Brooke's senior session was such a blast, filled with sunshine, water, and a love for life that radiated through every shot! For her session, she chose the beautiful Grant Park, specifically Seven Bridges Trail and the beach, as the perfect backdrop to reflect her adventurous spirit and connection to the outdoors. Brooke spends a lot of time at her family’s lake house, enjoying the water, so this lakefront location felt like the perfect fit to capture her senior portraits in a way that truly represents who she is.

Grant Park is an absolute gem for Wisconsin senior portraits, especially in Milwaukee’s South Shore area. The Seven Bridges Trail is known for its scenic paths, rustic wooden bridges, and lush greenery, making it ideal for those who love nature. Whether you're strolling through the forest or standing atop one of the bridges with the sunlight streaming through the trees, every corner of this trail offers stunning photo opportunities. The trail winds down to the beach, where the soft sand and lake views bring a different, yet equally beautiful, element to senior pictures. Pairing the texture of the bridges and forest with the expansive lakefront offers variety within one session—a perfect balance of nature’s textures and the calm, reflective atmosphere of Lake Michigan.

Brooke’s session felt like a perfect match for this spot. As we explored the trail and beach during golden hour, the light worked its magic, bringing out the warmth of her personality and adding a golden glow to each shot. Between sharing our favorite summer memories and connecting over "Anne of Green Gables" references, the whole session felt like a mix of fun and serenity—exactly what a senior portrait session should be.

Stay tuned for more—Brooke’s session isn’t over yet! Later this fall, we’ll be hitting the ice to capture her love for figure skating. I can't wait to see her glide through this exciting chapter of her senior year!
