Senior Portraits at Golden Hour: Capturing Elias in Milwaukee’s Third Ward

Golden hour in Milwaukee’s Third Ward gave Elias’ senior portraits the perfect vibe. The soft evening light brought out all the beautiful details of the Riverwalk and those historic buildings we love so much. Milwaukee’s cream city brick, mixed with the industrial elements of the area, made for such a cool, authentic backdrop. It’s no wonder the Third Ward is a go-to spot for so many Milwaukee, WI senior photographers!

What makes this neighborhood so special is its mix of charm and variety. You’ve got the warm tones of the cream city brick, old warehouses, and the river that adds a peaceful touch to the city’s buzz. For Elias, it all came together as we wandered from the Riverwalk to the streets lined with historic buildings and modern shops, giving us so many different looks to play with.

There’s something about the Third Ward that always brings out a little extra in each senior session. The textures, the history, and the energy of the area helped showcase Elias’ personality in such a fun and genuine way. We had a great time exploring, finding new angles, and letting each location add its own vibe to his portraits.

The Third Ward is easily one of our favorite locations for senior portraits in Milwaukee. It offers that perfect mix of old-school charm and city life that makes every session unique. Getting to know Elias as we shot in this iconic MKE neighborhood was a highlight, and we hope his senior year has great things in store for him! Wishing Elias all the best as he wraps up high school and heads into an exciting future.
