Lauren and Melissa planned such a meaningful and symbolic elopement for themselves! It was such a joy to capture their intimate self-uniting wedding ceremony in their backyard, complete with candles, a fire pit, string lights and a hammock for some post-wedding snuggles. What a perfect summer evening for such a special moment in their lives!

They walked down the aisle together right at sunset, and their exchanging of vows and rings was so romantic during the twilight as they were surrounded by the twinkling of lights and fire. With their vows written down in a leather-bound book, the two of them took in every moment as they spoke their love-filled promises, and afterward they shared their first kiss as a married couple before concluding with their intimate feet washing ceremony.

Soon it was time to pop the champagne! They enjoyed some sips of bubbly as the day turned to night, and we concluded with some creative and romantic nighttime portraits of the newlyweds!

Congratulations, Lauren and Melissa! We’re so happy for you two, and we wish you so much happiness! πŸ’—
