Jamie and Dan’s Fun + Creative Wedding Day | Dandy Vintage Furniture + Event Venue

Dan and Jamie's wedding so perfectly reflected their tastes and personalities! When they visited Dandy, they knew it was going to be their first and only venue tour. They loved the unique style, colors, and overall vibe of the space, and they said it "really felt like us."

True to their thoughtful nature, their invitations were one of a kind! They recorded a podcast about each guest and sent an email invitation with an audio file attached to each person. Isn't that amazing?!

Their considerations for the experience of their guests carried over to the big day, too, with plenty of games for guests to play, a huge charcuterie spread during cocktail hour, a delicious made-to-order dinner, and a lively dance floor. It was such a joy to photograph all the fun, excitement, attention to detail, and love!

Jamie: I love that Dan is immensely patient, endlessly creative, and has the ability to bring people together for any occasion or event — from creating a rap album to going to a new haunted house. He challenges me to try new things and supports my interests even when they result in watching 10 hours of basketball or eating a 22 course meal. I’ve had both open heart surgery and knee surgery in the past two years and Dan’s physical and emotional support were unwavering during many extremely difficult months. I know that our life together will be unique and interesting because of Dan.

Dan: I love that Jamie always strives to be the best possible friend and partner, and works extremely hard at it. She is incredibly tough and has navigated a lot of challenges in life, and that makes me feel like we can take on anything together. At the same time, she loves life and always wants to share the things that bring her joy, and that makes everyone want to be around her. She is funny, creative, and smart, and life with her is always interesting.
