Addison’s Creative Senior Pictures at Lake Park and Black Cat Alley

Addison is about to kick off her senior year at Kiel High School in Chilton, Wisconsin, but her heart has a soft spot for Milwaukee. We were thrilled that she made the 1.5-hour drive to MKE to capture her senior pictures with us. Milwaukee’s vibrant mix of urban and natural settings offered the perfect backdrop for her session, and Addison’s love for music, art, and adventure shone through every shot.

Our first stop was Lake Park, one of Milwaukee's hidden gems. Nestled near shores of Lake Michigan, this park is a favorite for senior pictures in Milwaukee. With its lush greenery, historic bridges, and sweeping views of the lake, it offers a serene and classic setting. Addison’s playful and free-spirited nature came alive as we strolled through the park, capturing the essence of golden hour. The soft, warm light filtered through the trees, creating a dreamy atmosphere that perfectly complemented her vibrant personality.

Next, we headed to Black Cat Alley, a completely different vibe that was just as fitting for Addison’s creative side. Located in the heart of Milwaukee’s East Side, this outdoor art gallery is a must-see spot for any senior with an artistic flair. The alley’s bold, colorful murals and graffiti art provided a dynamic contrast to the natural beauty of Lake Park. Addison, who plans to study graphic or architectural design in college, was right at home here. Her love for art museums and her passion for design were reflected in every mural she posed against. It felt like we were capturing a piece of her future along with her present, and the energy was electric.

As the sun began to set, we found a perfect spot between the buildings to wrap up the session: The sunset was nothing short of spectacular, painting the sky in shades of pink and blue, and it felt like the perfect ending to a day full of creativity and joy.
